So all the bass fishing tournaments , fishing shows  etc are all mostly just because ........they're there ? I have seen old pictures showing stringers of smaller one's being taken as what I have always assumed as being supper ? Seems more a fish that does well in the water systems and as such it has been stocked more then others ? I would like to try it for myself ( catch ) , as well as some sunfish ......but that would mean traveling south to achieve that . I'm getting a free preview right now on a fishing channel and it's 90% large mouth , can't relate to it ?............

didn,t ol george whatshisname eat the 22 lb.er? wonder how that tasted? will say this, several years ago my buddy and i fished near wildwood, n.j. locals kept saying how good bluefish were, we brought home a cooler full, ceaned promply ,n, iced down totally for the ride home. we couldn,t choke those darn things down. horrible strong fishy taste. thought we were butt of joke. nope, those crazy jersers thought those fish were delish. maybe what you,re used to eating since childhood? don,t know. wire
