Fished it yesterday in the north end , first skunk of the year.We located fish but couldn't hold long enough to get a jig to them.I think we would of done OK trolling but left that gear home.It wasn't a total loss we did scout some new areas that did hold good amounts of fish
I got 13 short fish yesterday and 4 15" that also went back ,most from trolling worm rigs.Hard to control the boat in the wind. I was able to mark and catch 2 with a dropshot and a gulp worm 5/8 sinker.

You are a better man than me. No way I am out in this heat. Two more days and the hot weather will be out of here. I think those were my spots. The lake has dropped a lot in the last couple weeks. Water temps has to still be in the mid 70's....h2l

I had 76-77 water temp. Had quite a few fish in the boat from Friday Saturday and sunday. Lot of boat traffic didnt slow the fishing down.

We were on the water before 6:00AM and it was nice 65* and got off by 11:30.the wind wasn't that bad but it was out of the south and by the time it got to me the waves were rocking. As good as we have been doing jigging I will hate to go back to trolling but without boat control on those windy days that's what I'll have to do.The water is way down there are a few piles that a few weeks ago were under water and now they are poking out a few feet. There were only a few trailers in the lot when we got there ,When we were leaving there was a line of trailers ,guys pulling their boats out for the year,Yeahhh.
Hopefully back in a few days.

I usually have at least one rod rigged for trolling, just haven't had to use it much. Lots of boats coming off the lake today. Now to get rid of the heat...h2l

Was pulling them in from 13-32fow. Fish seemed scattered.  No big schools.

13' to 32 FOW is quite a range of depth and water temp.

Fished it this morning,The launch was fine there is still about 5 fow. going out to the markers. Not a great day ended up with 11 mostly short. The wind blew pretty hard out of the SE.Boat control was tough.Might be my last trip for the year.Even with the wind it was nice to be out there without any traffic
