Canada lake
« on: May 24, 2015, 12:31 PM »
No idea how to fish this lake at all. I need tips from the experts. I know there are lake trout but where would I even start fishing for them. Looked on a map and saw some good water that starts at 60 ft of Stoner Island then eventually goes to 120 feet. Any advice/info is appreciated. Not trying to take anyone's spot at all, just tired of not catching any fish.
Don't fear the fish

Is the only boat launch on West Lake for Canada Lake?

And if that is the only launch, does anyone know if you can get a bass boat down the creek there to get into West Lake and into Canada Lake?

Thanks for any info.

i think there's a boat launch at "point breeze" on canada lake itself.  At least thats where we have gotten on the ice to fish it.   I've been told you can easily get between the lakes, might have to trim up the outboard a bit.   Fishing wise, we only ice fished it, but got tons of small lakers around the island and "sandy" point.
