I love to eat fish.  Shashimi to pan fried to the grill.  I would like to try more kinds when I can.  I would say that overall, I like fish we catch out of the hardwater season cooked the day we catch it is great.

Panfish cooked with Panko bread crumbs is beginning to be my favorite.  Catfish coated with a mix of lemon juice/Miracle Whip then coated with Lays Rippled Cheddar Cheese potato chips than baked in the oven.

BigR - you sure do have some good questions.

Saltwater fish take the cake in my opinion.  Broiling or grilling thick grouper chunks or even pulling fresh tuna out and eating them sashimi-style with some wasabi.  Something about the salt makes those thick fillets taste reeaally good.  Saltwater fish grills better than freshwater IMO.  As for fresh water, I love grilled walleye; scale and gut them then remove the fins, brush with olive oil, garlic, lemon, and butter as you grill the whole fish.  I had it last week!  Not big on battering my fish b/c then you taste the mix primarily plus not as healthy.

Speaking of Andys Cajun that's getting to be hard to find! Alot of stores in the Fort quit stocking it. Guess there's always Google.

Asian carp, saw a show where they are starting to make hot dogs from them. People claim they are delicious. Me personally I will stick to perch, pike, (walleye and northern), gills then crappie in that order. Salt water is a big list.
