I didn't go out because of the rain. So the turkeys came to me. Had a hen and gobbler at 25yds off my deck about 10:15 this am

In all honesty, we beat the rain.  It started just as we got back to the house.

I got soaked and so did my box call so I only hunted for about an hour past sunrise but did hear 2 shotgun shots fired in the woods across from the field where I was.  Hope there is another tom in the flock for me to chase every morning before work this week.

  Saw this sad story about a local butcher shop. The Deer Man in Edmeston NY was arrested after a two year investigation. He had 3600 lbs. of illegal venison for sale.

Years ago a buddy of mine took a whole deer over there. He went to pick it up and said is that all there is. The guy went in and brought out another box of product and gave it to him. I guess if you don't ask they just sell it to the next guy.

  Yeah kc we always knew he was a crook. Took an archery deer in, then chomped down on a piece of lead.
