This young 7 point has been hanging around my yard eating my plums& apples and checking out the does....these pics about a week and a half ago...
saw him this am and all velvet is rubbed off now .

Looks like there are plenty of coyotes this year. That is probably not helping the turkey population much.  >:(

Choo Choo, He is a cute little Dude ;D!!!  Thanks for sharing, nice pics!!!  Need to fatten him up, all his ribs are showing and he has a skinny little neck!!!  Give him a pass till next year, then he will knock your socks off!!!

 I hear you CNYFish, and thanks, glad you liked the pics. I was wondering why he is so thin with so much good food around.....the other deer that hang around here are in great shape .
Parasites, tapeworm?  Any thoughts?

Northern Zone archery opened Sunday, I passed on this little doe at less that 15 yds.

Had this bear come sniffing right under my tree a couple nights ago, needed him to come out a little further for a shot with my recurve. He finally smelled enough danger and ran back where he came from.
