same thing I took a shower and felt the tick in my leg I had been hunting so i'm not sure how long the tick was on me I was in a high lyme area and the doctor started me on Doxycycline (I believe) next day the rash appeared I never felt any symptons other then the rash and doctor told me your best bet if you have a deer tick on you start treatment as soon as possiable .... my prayers for a speedy recovery

I used to ignore the concerns of lymes until my wife got it last year. First the rash followed immediatly by unbearble back pain. We had to go to the ER. In some people the symptoms can progress quickly. If she didnt get the meds quick it would have been bad.
