Found there's more weeds than I've seen there before, lost a small northern right at the get go, was using a dynamic XXL to cast. Tried trolling, but that was a waste of time, because of the weeds. Water clarity was 7 ft. plus. Had both a northern and a trout follow the XXL, at the same time. Neither hit it. Think they were laughing at it. See a lot of trout taking the damsels that got to close to the surface. Water Temp 68*
Moved to some deeper water trying to find the edged. Good luck on that. Did watch what looked like a 24 to 26 bow take a whack at my trout colored XXL, It was a real bruiser. What did hookup put on quite a air show LOL. Pretty nice day, left before any South Park weather moved in. The drive back took another 2 hours than it should have, guess there were 3 wrecks, that had traffic stop & go, from Fairplay, to Jefferson, and again after Kenosha pass.
