They're tuff to fish unless they're in with a good week usually of Hot south winds.
When that happens its pretty much on for who ever can get out there, when there on you got to get on them then, a nasty north wind can mess the fishing up for a few days to a week sometimes. We were suppose to have our annual Perch Derby sat but canceled due to no fish and north winds. We go out of New Buffalo where the limits 35, a day license is only $10 and its a great ramp. Will watch and keep you posted unless the others post first, theres lots of Perch Jerkers on the board here.

good reports north of MC in 20-30 feet. Also in New Buffalo and St. Joe. Probably not a coincidence that we got some summer-like weather, and the summer perch pattern started up!

Not too much to report fishing was very slow today not many takers fished east all day marked a lot of fish but they would not take shiner minnows too well the bait store didn't have any baby roaches which I think resemble ale wife fry or smelt which is what they hit on last year
