stone and fish lakes
« on: Jul 21, 2015, 07:41 PM »
Hit stone this morn and didnt do well. Went over to fish lake and got 12 nice gills and 3 monster ears. All fish caught on lilly edges and bee moths for bait. Around 4 feet deep. Never been there, nice little lake for the canoe. Really nice day to be out, finally. Work and weather have really taken their toll on my boat fishing. Im lucky to be able to slide over to shorewood every other week and thats a gill and bass  blast. Have done great all 6 times there.  Use bee moths from dock approx 5 feet deep for gills, bass hit almost anything. Best from 6 pm on. Sorry have not posted much, got to fish to do so.

Are they shad or just big Shiner minnows?  I've been catching those all over this summer.  Caught my first ever dog fish this summer also.
