Caught a few more today with my DIY spider rig T-bar. Actually had to break out the blue jeans and a coat today! It was a bit chilly for a while. Happy Fishing!

Nice fish.  Your bottom pic sort of spooked me. From my computer it looks like you are fishing on a lake but there is no opposite shoreline. Was wondering where you were fishing until I realized the top of the pic (white area) was between photos. Not your fault, just my old eyes giving me a hard time.

Yeah it does make it look like he as on one of the Great Lakes or something. I suppose one could do that on purpose to mask what water one is on.

I like that t-bar idea! I suppose one could make it out of PVC too.

If you put each side out far enough you could score some jet skiers!

Haha, I wasnt trying to conceal the body of water, I was just trying to get a decent shot of my setup.

I thought about pvc but that metal pipe is much sturdier. I've caught a few decent sized cats with this setup and if it were pvc it probably would've broke before I grabbed the rod. Unless you used huge diameter pvc. Probably the best 20 bucks I've spent lol.
