I have fished for eyes in the St. Joe in Constantine numerous times without any luck.
A few nice catfish though.
Heading to Dowagiac to visit an old friend weekend of 11/13.
What do you think?
Should I bring a rod and reel?
Thanks.

Mac

Used to do well there just below the dam in deep holes vertical jigging the same lures I ice fish erie with. Haven't been over there in a while but I think I used to put my boat in at shamrock park. At least I think that's what it was called. I usually didn't have to go more than a few hundred yards down river. Problem with Michigan is non resident fishing license is expensive. I think they do sell a two or three day pass .
