Cathy Young takes on Rushford Lake
« on: Sep 01, 2015, 05:19 AM »
“The continued existence of the locked gates and excessive fee structure that limits public access and conflicts with state law jeopardizes future support for state funding for lake projects,” Young stated. “Also, the $25,000 boat washer grant will be withdrawn if the gate is not removed and the fee structure is not reformed to be in line with other Western New York lakes.”

I'm getting old and senile as Mike always reminds me.

But every once in a while I can rub 2 brain cells together.

Even I missed that, but then I may not have enough brain cells to rub together.

I only gut 2 Jerry.
And I know you have more than me.
You just need to wake them up once in a while.

Seeing you chime in here reminded me that I need to take Donna to Falconer's Meats for some pepper sticks.

Thanks Cath...nice to see someones concerned about the fishermen...I was one of many who was turned away at 5:30 in the morning when arriving at the lake for some early spring walleye fishing...when I asked the DEC if my license money was being used to help stock the lake, he told me " we've stocked that lake for many-many yrs. and now some members of the association are telling us"...." well, stop stocking it !!!" Real nice

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
