Starting to love creek fishing!

My biggest brown. Pitty he didn't take my fly, but the panther martin triggered a reaction! This creek pig swam right back into the tree roots from once he came

Didn't even notice until I read that... That's cool! thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks fellas! had some local guys I showed the picture to ask why I didn't get it mounted... I had decided on an 18" minimum earlier in the year. (18" is pretty d**n big around here in the SMALL native trout creeks.) Well This one was a hair over 19" and the thought never crossed my mind. All I was worried about was getting him back in the water healthy.

nice colors. i'm imagining a smaller creek due to his long, slender profile. bet that was fun!!

What a beauty. The pic will serve just as nice as a mount would have. Congrats on a nice catch & release!  8)

nice brown--nice release----a picture lasts forever-----if you keep them in the water and use your to net rest them--then you will find that you can take like a dozen nice pics of a great fish--keeping them wet--and you will get great pictures AND be able to let them go----good job---hes still in there abd maybe he will get bigger and you can get him again next year.---i caght a beauty 22incher last season--let it go --caught it again the very next day and it fought harder the 2nd day
