Gorge ling
« on: Oct 15, 2015, 09:49 PM »
Those buggers hitting yet? I know the fishing starts to pick up this time of year for them but with the warm weather thought maybe it was delayed this year. Thanks,

That is not really true. They don't bite as well but people still target them and catch them in the summer.  Fish deep and at night.

I have not heard anything this summer but last 2-3 years I have heard reliable reports of people catching them with some regularity in the summer.  I would try fishing as deep as you can and if you don't have any lucky try a little shallower until you find them.   I have caught them every month of the year personally, but haven't targeted them this year.

We tried fishing burbot in about 20 to 50 feet of water and caught a few. Any tips!!!
