if you believe the old wives tale about acorns then we are in for a COLD winter.  I have about 1.5" of them on my driveway.

Now we will have to contend with one of the following:

A drought year, with well below rainfall average for the summer (not too likely to happen)

or a flood year, with well above rainfall totals, and either major flooding rains or many, many days of rain showers. (more likely to happen)

I am planning on a wet spring and a wetter-than-average summer, resulting in muggy days and major mosquito-born disease outbreaks.
Not saying it's the end of the world, just planning on getting wet and swatting flies while fishing!
