« on: Nov 26, 2015, 09:03 PM »
With all the positive reports Ive been seeing for ponds and lakes I decided to hit a few myself... I ended up with a whole lot of action with the Brookies caught about 2 dozen also a few small Browns it was a lot of fun and I will definitely be visiting the lakes/ponds more in the future ;D

Very nice, Scott.

Many of the ponds I fish had stiffened up as of a few days ago.

Our waters down here are still in the low 40's Jim, atleast at a particular lake outlet im assuming the ponds are similar temp, surprised you have signs of ice already

Very pretty fish!  Gotta love those fall colors. As for ice, on Tuesday I saw a thin layer that formed on a small pond in the area I've been fishing. It'll be a bit late this year, but I've looking toward to walking on the hard water.
