Turkey day bows

Spent turkey day wkend in mid state NY. Managed to sneak out and pick off these two bows.

Nice fish.  Those dark, low cloud days are often great ;D

I lived in NY for a lot of years.....curious what town you were in?

Thanks. we fished in Grafton. The two bows and a largie we're all we caught. Man it was cold,and rainy. I'm surprised it didn't snow!

Thanks.  Not too far from Albany.  I have roots there.

Yes, late season open water fishing can be good, but some cold!  I was the coldest I'd been in a long time when I waded deep on Friday.

nice trout.  i thought that rocky shoreline looked familiar.  They are usually frozen by now.   Used to be a Halloween tradition between my buddy and I to go up there and fish lighted floats at night for the bows.
