so is it going to be a long or short winter?

just wondering is it going to be a short or long winter I am hoping short winter but who knows? this is since ground hog day is the second of February...

I noticed the starlings and sparrows here at my daughter's place are checking out their nest sites and singing up a storm this morning. Seems way early this year.

This is automatic for me in December.
So it's done and ready.
Already talking about heading out the western basin for Maumee River eyes in March/April.
If things are early, might be more like mid-March.  Hopefully.

yep I know it going to be short just got done digging the lids for the septic tank so we can pump it we do are every two years bad ground water were we are at ... but ya trying to get in to the grage to get the boat out is going to be a pain till I get rid of a few things till then I guess I am shore fishing....

ya winters been short... by the way are septic tank was so bad it broke the guys truck now we got a septic truck sitting in our drive for a few days lol's j/k we really got the broke truck in our drive though lol's...the pulley broke cause the diesel engine snapped the idler pulley bolt in half and stranded his truck from all the torque it has...

wow rags777 that's not good for ice guys...  but seems good for open water guys .. it going to be 45*F  on  Saturday here in Michigan and windy as heck is what there calling for the 20 of February 2016.....
