3. check guides for problems
4. fix any problems
5. disassemble, clean, re-lubricate, and reassemble reels
6. check line, replace if necessary. re-tie leaders
7. clean and re-organize tackle box
8. clean and check boat for problems

10. clean out car
11. make any of the neat contraptions, inventions, or modifications i thought up during the off season (a personal favorite)

Hmmm?    ???

I need to bottle the Battenkill Brown Blonde that's brewing for the VT trout opener.   ;D
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.
The brook trout is the prom queen of the trout world, and a promiscuous prom queen at that!

You seem to have a fishing and drinking problem. Their both ok....but not together. Try doing one or the other.

Got my registration stickers in the mail. Stuck them on the boat and trailer. Installed the new fuel pump on the outboard. Just need to check the plugs, do a little touch up paint on the motor cover, check the trailer tire pressures and load rods etc.

I haven't respooled yet, but there's time. Looks like some end of March chill coming our way. Suits me, I don't usually launch till the canal is full near my home. Good place for the shake down cruise. Anyway, there's a lot of great shore and dock fishing the next two months. I might even chase some trouts in the stream ;D

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
