What's your favorite fish to fish for?

honestly i don't know what my favorite is. i love smallmouth fishing, but bluegill are another favorite, and there's nothing more entertaining than a late-night catfishing trip; big carp are hard to beat, and perch of all sizes provide a lot of fun on slow days. Suckers are a challenge because they bite light and fight hard, crappie inhale big baits and stack up in numbers for hours of fun, bullheads may be small but they're a lot of fun to fish for, and it's hard to forget the colors on brook trout from a high mountain stream.

I love fishing for trout and salmon, but panfish are great fun especially since I started fly fishing.

I fish Tongue River reservoir in MT and you never know just what you will catch at any given moment. It makes every catch my favorite from crappie,perch, small mouth,large mouth, walleye, bull heads, catfish, carp to northern. and if I feel like trout I head to the WY mountain streams and foothill lakes.

Light tackle jigging for deep water Fluke with the occasional black sea bass, striped bass, blue fish, scup, or weakfish taking the bait.

Also love the Striped bass on live pogie.

I absolutely love bluegill fishing.  I can never take my boat out without my panfish gear. Doesn't matter the season , the lake, or my "intended" target fish. I usually always end up chasing the gills.Its a good thing my son understands , however I did promise him I would concentrate a little harder this year.

Now have 5 lakes close by with Tigers
