Anyone been out this week with the warm weather? Looks like it could be a good weekend if the NW winds set up. Had some issues with the motor at the ramp last weekend, and no fish, Hopefully it will be a different story sunday

No I have a gray/maroon "fishing machine" but I was parked near the ramp in scriba for a few hrs. Nothing like being first to the ramp on a beautiful morning to find you didnt get the shifter linkage set right after changing the water pump haha. Fired it up and she started going backwards on me. Thank god I had a her tied off good. Got underway just before 10am, not much action

its slow, there's fish around, but its not been like previous years.

I've fished the area west of the plant 3 times and did well each time.  Also heard that it was good today in front of the big Salmon river.  Haven't touched a fish in Mexico bay.

It's been slow for me last 3 times out. Pounding the warm stained water to no avail then moving back to the cold clear water, where I've been getting them all year, and finishing the day with a couple.

I always regret not starting out in the spots I've been getting them but I can't resist hitting the spots they should be.

Just got back from fishing there last weekend fishing was great when you could get out.  Are the fish in as close as they are now at the end of may?  Are down riggers required to be successful at that time or can you still do well with planer boards?  We want to come back at the end of May.
