Well done Mac and company

Thanks.

Love fishing with my boys.

We had fun.

Didn't kill them, but got a few.

Just got back from fishing there last weekend fishing was great when you could get out.  Are the fish in as close as they are now at the end of may?  Are down riggers required to be successful at that time or can you still do well with planer boards?  We want to come back at the end of May.

Thanks

I'll be  in the Sodus Point area at the end of May.  Any help on what we should be doing.  Depth of Water, Do we need down riggers?  Are Planer boards with Dipsy's or lead core enough?  Appreciate any help.

You'll be fine with leadcore and dipsys. You can probably still catch them with flat lines at the end of May.

Late getting stuff posted but this is from the week of April 25th out of Fair Haven.

My PB brown at 16lbs on a black and gold Rapala stick

This little guy really choked down a red/gold/blue spoon just 35' behind the boat

nice 5lb brown on the same black and gold Rapala

Finally got the weekend free to fish and visit the folks. Think its still manageable to pull some browns trolling stickbaits and spoons near shore around Oswego area? I have planners but no downriggers so I'm a bit limited by depth.

Also, Anyone been trolling the Oswego Harbor at night?

I almost tried it last night but went to Otisco instead.  Should have tried Oswego.
