Jackson Lake in August?

Hi everyone - taking a family vacation from Maine to your area in August and amongst many other activities planned, my wife has booked us for part of the trip at Signal Mountain Lodge.  Additionally, she has booked my son and I on a morning  trout trolling charter there.  I know in Maine, trout are generally hard to come by that time of year but I know the lake is deep.  Can we reasonably expect some success or has she wasted her money? (Albeit well intentioned ). Thanks folks, looking forward to any input and the visit in general.

While I don't fish Jackson Lake, I do fish the lakes around Pinedale and while August is a little slower it's still good fishing. Trolling for deep water lake trout. They should be starting a pre spawn pattern. Who is the charter?

She arranged it right through Signal Mountain Lodge, not sure if they are employees of that outfit or they use local guides, have been a non participant in planning this vacation other than credit card. I thought $300 for my son and I was very fair for a half day charter, moon looks good while we are there, hoping for a monstah!   Thank you.
