They are catching white bass over there now.  Not sure if the walleye run is done.

Got there at 5 am for the early bite. When I left at 9 the ramp had 7 trailers. Ended up with 2 eyes and a crappie.

I leave North Judson just before that every day. Wish we could connect and go sometime. Glad you are getting out.

You live in North Judson?

My wife's first teaching job was at North Judson.

Yes we live in North Judson. Taught there last year and they laid off (RIF) 7. I was one. This year it was 24 laid off.  My son will graduate soon from there and we will probably be moving closer to South Bend area depending on my wife's future employment. Right now she is not working and we hope that changes.

No offense to North Judson but my wife was happy to leave there. The pay was so low she qualified for food stamps, which she didn't collect.

What did you teach? Biology or Chemistry?

I'm off topic here but I've been hearing North Judson school is going to be shut down completely?  I really hate these taxes in Jasper County, but it makes me feel better that we have a decent school system for the kids.

Have not heard that. Small schools have a tough time now. Can you imagine the travel time these kids would have if they had to go to another school?

Bass lake always seems to be good for a nice mix bag of fish, I like that about it
