There are many examples of ponds, lakes & reservoirs used for public drinking water and remain open for public recreational use. Look at Baltimore where they have a very large population and the Loch Raven has been used for fishing for as long as I can remember. Edgemont in Hagerstown is another. Gunpowder & Patapsco rivers are used for the drinking water too, but you don't see restrictions placed on them.

This guy Kitzmiller needs to check his premise, there's no cause for him to think recreational use of this body of water will cause harm Montpelier, he's just being stubborn & self centered-self-serving.
Now we need to focus on keeping this from ever cropping up again!

I also take issue with St. Albans and the no trespass on the ponds in North Fairfax, this is another body of water with homeowners on the border that use the water often yet is off limits to the public...stop with the double standards!

I think he lives on North Street in Montpelier.
