Eagle Optima just lights up won't respond

I'm finally getting back to public fishing after a 6 year hiatus due to too much going on in my businesses and I have four ponds on the property. I got my Eagle Optima out of storage (in the house so climate controlled) and it just lights up. Won't respond to the keys or anything.

Any ideas what's going on?

Are you sure your batteries have enough voltage/charge?

                              Soft Reset (Does not delete Data)                               Hard Reset (Deletes stored data)
Optima Reset              1. Turn unit OFF                                                        1. Turn unit OFF
                                2. Press and hold the EXIT key                                    2. Press and hold the LEFT & RIGHT arrow keys
                                3. Press and hold the PWR key                                    3. Press and hold the PWR key
                                4. Release both buttons when the unit powers up           4. Release both buttons when unit powers up

Try the soft reset first.
If nothing, try the hard.
The 2nd link below is the manual, but it says nothing in the troubleshooting section of your problem or how to reset to factory settings.
But it does give you factory contact information.
