Anyone know if Saratoga has a bite on? I fished it a few times early and did OK and then it shut off. Seems late for them not to be really active.

Does anyone know if they did some treatments on Saratoga Lake this year? Just appears to be the worst crappie bite we have experienced in years. There appears to be no staging weeds like in the past. Also the nice spawning grounds appear to be just completely covered in snot moss. I hope the lake association is not to blame.

Ditto on Big Tuppers statement. I had one decent day in late April and then zero on four more trips.

I hammered them the days I went out. The size was up too.....fish are not always in the same spots. Things change and the fish adapt. I had guys tellling me they fished all over the lake and got a few......meanwhile I was getting one after another. I fished the late spots early and vice versus. And I never even got my motor warm after launching ;-)

Good to know Jeff. I was about to say something overall wrong on Saratoga but perhaps I was just to set in my ways. Although, I did look pretty hard. Are they still active or is it over?
