Not much for fish this morning. Couple of small crappie. Water was very turbid.

But.........I did get to see the first steel set on the new bridge at Canandaigua road.







The little white dot is a drone taking video of the install.


Pretty cool stuff to bump into.

We locals have been waiting for this bridge across the canal  for going on 7 years. It's quite a project. It connects rte. 31  with rte. 31f in macedon center. Basically the loss of the bridge cut the town in half.

They're ahead of schedule thanks to the kind winter.

They were really good.  Vennie steak and eggs this morning.  Too many weeks like this and I'll need a bigger boat.  Just giving Mac (Attack) his weekly dose of vicarious retirement.  I like to jab him in good humor but I really hope he gets to live his dream.  Looking forward to seeing his pics off his pontoon in Florida.

Couldn't find much in the way of panfish today but did locate a handful of these............while Mac was working.  ;D  Good chance this will be my biggest smallie of the year at 19 1/2".  Lots of fun on the panfish gear.
