went fishing today 5/3/16 using spinners[silver #3 fox and mepps] caught about 12??C/R all
got pickerel,bass, one crappie photos to follow

try to fish 200 days a year,cut back now,age

Nice pics rat.....I Need to start using spinners again....used to use them a lot, mostly for rock bass and in some trout streams. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and pics.

take a kid hunting and fishing, it's a lot better than leaving them on the streets!!

We got a solid dozen today while perching in one of the finger lakes.  I love them. They fight good and taste better if you take the time to debone or grind for patties. I can't wait for the opener when a few will be returning with me as a dinner guest.

I tried grinding and patties , realized what I had been missing for years ,they are good! and if you fillet a few bigger ones you won't be disappointed

Oh yes.....I usually will keep a few good ones.....usually from Oneida or Cayuga lakes.... I fillet them out too and you are right they are great eating
