Just a heads up. Looks like the high performance boats are here for the weekend. They were running most of the day from the campsite and down toward the dam. They don't care if you are fishing. Some went 50/75 feet from me today....h2l

Thats a shame...

They had there weekend so that is over for the year. Very seldom fish on weekends anymore and with the heat yesterday there was no way I would go out. I am sure there are some people that are pretty red this morning....h2l

We have bass tourneys almost every weekend on Oneida , and there are always a few that make the rest of them look like knuckle heads , a shame really ,

I am red. There is a army corps res 3 mins up the road from me.  No swimming or water skis.  20 mph limit and no development on any of its shorelines.  Great for days like yesterday.  Tested ipilot...works great.

Those were two big walleye

I got stuck at 4 keepers all trolling. Caught a short, couple pike, few perch, and the rockies were slamming the bigger cranks. Bite faded about 10am when all the boaters woke up

Are you sure it wasn't sat with the torrential rains and wind?? Water levels went up 18" after that and some more. Wife and I boated 7 wallys with 1 short. I lost 2 from a popped hook about 15' from the kayak and boat. Resharpened hook and no more lost fish. The fish's stomachs seemed pretty empty too...........

I drove through the F1 that hit western mass in March on my way back from schroon.  I never want to do that again!

Side note...SS we went out there this spring and found and bailed some impressive smallies all day.  A few of which were 4lbs.  This surpassed the average size I was acustom to there.
