Renowsky Hook removal/replacement
« on: May 22, 2016, 06:11 AM »
I have been searching last years posts about people removing and changing the one remaining hook on Renowsky lures to get a better action from them but can not seem to find what was posted last season. Can anyone give me some advice to re-fit them?
Thanks,
Duane

Remove the front hook completely.  It will widen the wobble of the lure, replace remaining hooks with quality hooks in the same size as what you are replacing.   The hooks that come on Renoskys are notoriously weak, replace with heavier mustard or gamakatsu hooks.

The bodies on Renoskys have been having problems with them leaking water as well, won't run the same half full of water.
