Haven't been seeing too many reports here and only a few here and there on FB.
Been trolling the lakes with My friend John aka Just a Trout. Water temps have gone from approx 50* to up near 60-62* this past weekend. Most fish were caught 2 to 4 colors down on lead and 10-20ft down on riggers. Used smelt for as long as I could get them and primarily streamers and spoons the last couple weekends. Overall fishing has been slow but We've caught fish every trip. Most average size with a few in the 3-4lb range on occasion. Still hunting for the first 5+ of the season.
Also hit the Merrimack a few times and hooked into a few broodstock salmon between 5-8lbs. Most fish were pretty beat up but still gave a good fight in fast water.
Got My wife and son out a couple times at a little neighborhood pond that has a bunch of little 1-3lb bass in it. Good practice for my son to get used to fishing on his own. (4years old)

My wife and son with a couple bass from a neighborhood pond. Good practice spot for them. Now that my son asks to fish with Me all the time, My wife is taking more of an interest
