Ah....you hillbillies will eat anything ;D

I assume you have the good sense to at least wash it down with something proper?

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Hot dogs eh?

Perch and crappies......butter, salt, pepper, yellow bell pepper, RG's awesome salsa, black olives, parm, Frank's red hot, little bit of Italian dressing, crushed basil flowers..........on the Weber.

A nice bed of long grain and wild rice......some steamed broccoli and zucchini .........

I think I inhaled it through my right nostril.

Oh yeah....a nice glass of Walter Taylor Goat White!

A bonanza of flavor. Good thing I have some left overs for lunch tomorrow ;D

Bob - Donna and I have a killdeer on our stone driveway out at the lake sitting on 4 eggs.
2nd time this has happened.
About 3 years ago another one did the same thing.
We moved the picnic table over the top to protect her from the rain and also keep people from stepping on them.
I shoulda took a photo.
Those killdeer eggs are really camo'd good in the gravel.
Really hard to make them out.

Yeah, they don't seem to be too choosy about nesting sites. There's a pair most years just off the parking lot in the plaza near my home. They go nuts when I make my morning run. My route takes me around the plaza.

I'm gonna check the box again later when I see them both outside and do an egg count. I'm a certified nest watcher with Cornell's Nestwatch program.

I always knew I was certifiable :-\

Good camp recipe dipsy ;D

Man....just woke up to the curtains blowing out 90 degrees from the window. Wind was howling with sideways rain. Some thunder and lightning too. Sounded like a freight train rolling through the bedroom.
