Cool close up pic of yellow perch fry

I hatch and raise yellow perch along with being a taxidermist. Fish 14 inches and over are sold whole frozen to fellow taxidermists all over the U.S. Anyway a friend that identifies water microorganisms for a living is taking close up pics of perch fry of various ages (At this size they grow 1 mm per day). Here's one I scooped out of the hatchery pond the other day.

Cool eh? You can just see the bar pattern starting to appear on this one.

It wasn't me it was the friend in Ohio. I assume yes as he takes photos with a microscope all the time.

Update: The perch are now small crappie minnow size. I am feeding them with powdered feed off a pier using a clamp on light.

so how long does it take to grow them to 14"+?  

I can get them there in 3 to 4 years. In the lakes that can be anywhere from 8 years on up. The downside is the faster a fish grows the shorter its life span.
