spinner baits
« on: Jul 05, 2016, 03:00 PM »
I have a question for you spinner bait throwers. What is the difference in the ones that have the "closed eyelet" for tying the line on and the ones that just have the "S" shaped bend for tying the line too?

The closed eyelet is helpful if you plan on using a steel leader or a snap to attach the lure to the line.  I use spinnerbaits for pike and muskies so I always try to buy the closed eyelets otherwise the line will slide up the arm of the spinnerbait and not retrieve properly.
