Lock 7 down to 6 upper crescent Mohawk River

Just docked my boat here I've had decent luck in the past caught a good variety of fish what are your guys thoughts on this section of River and tips/advice appreciated....keep em tight gentleman

this section of the river is one of the best.but remember most times the bottom will change
 from year to year,and the week ends are different then the week days.

smallies on the rocks, largemouth in the weeds, walleyes on the channel edge drop offs.   Pike along the deep weed edges.   Lots of room to explore.   Twice this year already I've had someone anchor and start fishing within 25 feet of my boat while I was already anchored and fishing, please don't be that guy.

Lol never that guy! I had a little luck near the Waterford launch last night ..3 smallies nothing special...I haven't really found the fish yet I guess been using everything in the box i feel like

We moved in where you were and sort of closed him out.  Pulled a nice smallmouth right out from under his boat!
