Walleye Fishing From Older Refrences???
« on: Aug 29, 2016, 06:49 PM »
I was cleaning up some stuff in my basement and came across older WALLEYE fishing ("tips and instructions".)  Would these be accurate 20 years or so after they were published?? I'm inclined that they do because the Walleye really aren't going to change their behavior that fast as OUR WORLD changes constantly. New " have to have it baits" versus " tried and true ". What are your thoughts????????

All creatures evolve to an extent so to an extent I think one needs to try new things every once and a while.  Obviously there are so many variables we could generalize forever about this.  I think it would be a mistake to draw any conclusions on what a walleys "world" is like just because we live in a state of flux ourselves.  I would assume the old tips and instructions discuss the use of a night crawler which is seemingly been a player in the walleye world for as long as I've been alive.
