suckers for bait

i would be interested to know if i can use live suckers for bait everywhere in the state: and if they have to be from the drainage i am using them in. so, i go and catch a sucker  in the powder river and decide to use it in keyhole  and try for pike. thank you

Googled legal baitfish Wyoming and your fish and game book, is the first result.  I did a quick once over and learned the use of live bait is prohibited in most spots aside from some exceptions they list on 22-23...also even if you use a trap you need a seining license.   Pages 22-23 have the bodies of water listed where you can trap and use wild bait provided you have the seining license.

should be able to use fresh dead suckers if not live ones.  almost as good, if you get it in front of them.  they look dam good on a windless tip-up, bumping bottom.
