9/21/16 catch

9/21/16
Caught this limit of gills from 8:30 to 11:15.  All caught on crickets in shallow water.  It has been quite sometime since I have caught a 10 gill and I caught these back to back.

I like the last pic. Looks like somewhere in the U.P. Nice to see a lake not all built up with houses all around. CONGRATS ON THE NICE FISH.

The water has been like glass more times than not these past few weeks. Some trees are starting to turn around lakes and the fall bite for gils is really on. The crappie will soon be coming on strong also. Nice catch. I'll be hitting Caldwell for one last time for gils tomorrow then turn my attention to crappie and bass.

That's what I've seen as late. Big gils that have been suspended over deep water are now cruising close to shore. The deeper edges seem to be the best edges for me.

That"s a great mess of gills you brought home, glad to see their starting to bite again . Keep catching them !!!!!

Nice fish Prince Craft.
I just got back from the UP. We were bass fishing but my step-son got a 6lb walleye. Great trip.
Have a new server on my computer and for some reason not compatable with PhotoBucket so can't post pictures??!! >:(
