Just a quick big  thanks to all because I'm actually packing for another grand adventure - stay tuned.

Lance: Thanks for the tip, I was actually on the stream before sunrise yesterday  (a crisp 37 degrees) and caught about  15  before I left to watch the Giants game (should have stayed in the water).

Camera Equipment : I have an older Nikon D60 with a few lenses and a GO Pro Silver that I can make still shots from. Believe me when I tell you I was dwarfed by all the professional camera equipment out there. Teton draws some serious photographers.  A local told me that Jackson is already booked solid for next year's eclipse next August.  He said he hopes it rains

great area you visited .i love that area .i enjoyed so much fishing henrys and south fork,the lamar ,yellowstone ,pebble creek, the green...i could never have enough time so i stayed 9 months one year,idaho falls and would travel thru victor pass to paradise

Such a beautiful post.  The pictures were great.  To anyone who wishes to get out there I beg you to do it and soon.  I try to make it out every other year to "hunt " elk.  More like an armed hike so far, but the main reason to get out there is just the chance to see it.  It runs me around $1200 for my tag, gas and food.  Throw a tent in the car or hook up the camper and GO!

My wife and I did a road trip out West before we had our first child. Yellowstone is breath taking. I can't wait to get back out there someday.
