3000 trips vs number of bass claimed in total equals 8 bass a day on average....im skeptical but his numbers are certainly doable.

Why release?
Green carp!
Darn near an invasive species.
Besides, let's see numbers like that with a fish that is a lot harder to catch.
Like perch, or bluegill.

It's all relative Bob.

Bass darn near jump in the boat.
Everyone knows there isn't any skill required to catch them.

If  your on fish you catch fish. I keep a log of my fishing and on average each trip averages 7 trout. At times,  have caught 150 perch on the ice,  90 smallies on the boat and 90 browns right after the stocking truck left the stream per trip.  8 bass per outing is  plausible.And FUN!

I've had surfcasting trips at the canal where I've hooked up nearly every cast for 6 hours....never counted the numbers caught though.
