Don't know where your located or how far you want to drive but let me suggest Caldwell lake just north of silver lake Indiana. Access is the first drive on the left when you get off hwy13 heading west. Claypool to the east , the lake to the west. Turn at Louis Dryfuss refinery, can't miss it. You won't find bigger Gil's anywhere on public waters. This time of year is also good for big crappie along pad edges and bass fishing is excellent.
