Half hour or so on the Hoosic
« on: Dec 03, 2016, 07:13 PM »
I had a spare half hour this afternoon and 1 & 1/3 of a nightcrawler, so I hit the South Hoosic in Cheshire for some fishing.

The weather was cloudy and sleeting, with temps about 40, and the water was up from the last few times I've fished.

I caught a 9" brookie and an 11" brown below the Cheshire Harbor dam.

I also tried upstream a little ways, but without success, before using up the last of my night crawler segments.

Wow, 27 trout in 2 hours is quite a haul.

I assume you mean the Farmington?

Tight lines!
