Fishing MC in the snow!
« on: Dec 05, 2016, 11:07 AM »
Headed up to MC again, this time with a boat! Still didnt improve out odds, we trolled, threw plugs, livebait, vertical jigged and casted from 7:15-5:30 am without any fish to show. Did get to talk to the coast guard for a bit since we were the only people fishing during the snowstorm. Didnt see or hear any whitefish or steelies being pulled off the pier sunday. Might just have to run to the st. Joe until the whitefish start to move in shallower

I'll be up there Sunday and hopefully more success then what you had. Hit or miss on days. Snow bringing some into the creek. Have seen some being caught in the joe. Think it could turn on any day now

been some good action on the tribs for folks that know what they are doing

harbor has been hit or miss. more on the miss side the last few days.

whitefish have been in shallow spawning, but the spawn is mostly done now. they will be around all winter, especially when the harbor temps are a degree or two higher than the lake temps, and there is sufficient wave action to stir things up at the pier
