Take a ride

This a good time to take a reconnaissance trip to those places we've heard about. We are in the in between time in my world. Tough shore or boat fishing and no ice fishing yet. Think I'll take the wife to Ft Wayne and drop her off at the mall, tell her I'll pick her back up at the front door 4 hrs later and then head north to check out the lakes and parking and bait shops and any thing else I might need when the ice comes on. I can say I did my part with Christmas shopping, she'll be happy, I might learn something.

There's times I wish I could forget but I better keep her happy. She might insist I get started on the pages of honey do's about the time ice comes on. Been able to put them off for a couple/several yrs and if I can continue for a couple more i'll be to old to do them.

Yeah, the honey do zapped me last weekend from what was probably my last boat trip. Seems like they know just when
the fish are biting. Coincidence, I think not !
