was there all day yesterday.  fished buttonwood, bluegrass island, and north of jerome rapids. after the day shift at the jeep chrysler plant ended, must have been at least 700 guys in that river.  buttonwood had 60 guys there at 7:30.  I saw the most fish caught at buttonwood.

Anybody interested in getting together and making the trip out there for a day or two? I know another river not far from there that is just as good of fishing. And far less crowd. Feel free to p.m. me.

Ive been fishing that area and the lake for 20 years, lake is too muddy to get out jigging and im chomping at the bit to get out.

A buddy and I fished bluegrass island this morning. We did okay, not great but I'm still happy. I kept 2 and he got one and had several suckers/carp mixed in between. Seemed like that's what most guys had was 1 or 2. Saw one guy with 3
