Lake Mascuppic on the mass border Tyngsborough/ Nashua is  3/4 ice free. As luck would have it the launch is still froze over.

    Launched the tin boat below Moore Dam hydro this afternoon.   56 degrees and rain but rainbows and small mouth were eating crawlers!
I expect that the Vermonters will line the north shore in two weeks?

Just be sure to check if the pond/lake you plan on fishing isn't a trout designated body of water, or you could be fishing illegally (before 4/1 official opening season)

Also be mindful that designated trout ponds aren't open until the 4th Saturday in April. Which should be 4/22 this year.
