Look on the chamber of commerce web site for Clayton or Alex Bay

Clayton and A-Bay target mostly pike.
Cape Vincent more bass caught.

Capt Pat Snyder or Capt Matt Heath out of Alex Bay. Both great choices or Capt Rich Clarke out of Clayton. All are great fisherman up there. I'm from the area and grew up fishing the river. PM me if you need numbers.

You didn't mention where on Wellesley Island you were staying. Main channel or Canadian side?? State park or private?? T-I Park?? Bringing boat or not?? Just asking as we are coming up last weekend in August and staying at WISP. Bringing big boat up to reach further spots to fish. Have been going there for years and love it up there. The dynamics have changed greatly since the 90's or later with gobies and Zebra Mussels. You can get bass anywhere there with a boat. No boat and I can understand why a guide. Beware as the bass can be like footballs from the deeper waters. Seeing is believing. Good Luck!!

Wife and I headed up to WISP last week in August. Level of water determined by rain fall from the Great Lakes. Have to be careful of where you go because of rocks. Many Many areas to catch SM Bass. Met 2 guys staying there several years ago. ALL they targeted were those bass and limiting out each day.....You should not have a problem catching them anywhere up there. If you see an older turquoise boat stop by and say HI...........
