That anchor wizard is cool! But man, you ain't kiddin'! $150 for an anchor system???? they can keep it!  ::)  But I bet we could make something out of pvc that would be similar for pennies on the dollar!  ;)

I doubt it, the anchor wizard is a pretty tough reel system. Personally, I could live without it.

I use the grappling style anchor for PWC for my yak. Very light and stores away easily when not being used.

Forgot to add... a small cleat installed on the side where it can be reached quickly to raise the anchor. I run the anchor rope through the handle hole on the rear of the yak. Keeping the rope to the rear keeps it out of the way while casting and reeling!😎

I posted up in the lakes section for Brady's lake. But pretty much, I fed the skeeters. LOL! Actually, I missed a few hits and caught one but I tossed it back. I know they are in there, just don't know where they hang out the most. I hit a couple spots but as the night wore on, the bite died off.

I got a visit by the local swimming garbage can. Dang snapper was huge! It's head was bigger than a baseball! And a couple snakes swam right past me. When the sun went down the lake just came alive, fish jumping all over. Kinda wished I was out in the yak... if not just to get away from the bugs!

Got my Yak out for the first trip of the season yesterday evening after work.
Wind was Terrible.
Couldnt fish my usual way.
I did manage a hslf dozen bass and over a dozen pickerel.
I lost the bigest pickerel of my life last nite next to the yak.
Im guessing it was over 5lb.
White and Chart.Spinnerbait.
I fished 6pm till 9pm.
It got cold quick after the sunset.
Top water bite never happened.
Heres a few pics.
No real slammer fish.
But all healthy and fun to catch.
I wish my Yak buddies Cowdawg and Spider were with me.
Hopefully next trip.
